Fallen from Grace – faq Nr. 15/2011
Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’ The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.

Meta.Morph by Andreas Waldschuetz for Una Burke

Once again Una Burke, notorious for her incredible leather statue like garments, and Andreas have teamed up to create something beautiful. Remember Sand People? The corsett like and very structural pieces originated from Una Burkes first collection and gained her massive publicity and folks such as Daphne Guiness and Lady Gaga to go all gaga for her designs… So if you are in London on February, 19th, make sure to attend VAUXHALL FASHION SCOUT and see for yourself!
This time Úna, Andreas, Adia and the team began planning the multi-media project titled META.MORPH last December. Amazing Photographer Stefan Sappert was brought onboard when his exceptional skills in the rare and specialised area of Collodion Wet Plate Photography were discovered by Andreas. All paths finally met in Vienna early this year to produce an experimental art film and a series of glass plate photographs featuring Úna’s Autumn-Winter 2011 collection. (more…)

Großmutter, so lieb und so nett
Oma so lieb, Oma so nett,
was mir so grad gefällt,
und schimpft dann meine Mutti:
Ach du verwöhnst ihn doch,
dann lächelt Oma zärtlich
und sagt ich darf das doch.
Oma so lieb, Oma so nett …..
In Omas kleinem Zimmer
sitz ich so gern bei ihr.
Sie weiß die schönsten Märchen,
und die erzählt sie mir.
Ich streichle ihre Hände -
und schaut sie mich dann an
und sagt das ist mein Junge,
sag ich ganz leise dann:
Oma so lieb, Oma so nett,
ach wenn ich Dich, meine Oma nicht hätt,
wärs auf der Welt
so traurig und leer,
denn eine Oma wie Dich gibt’s nie mehr
Andreas and Thomas Geierspichler
Major exposure for Andreas as well as Thomas – Orange Ad 2008
To cut a long story short, Andreas and Thomas go way back. Back in the eraly 2000s, Thomas was already pretty much up there when it comes to rocking the world of wheelchair racing, he had participated at the Paralympics in Sydney, won Bronze there for the Marathon, in 2002 at the World Cup in Lille, he won Gold and at the Paralympics in Athens in 2004, he scored not only gold but set a paralympic record.
Please find all details to his carreer at his own website www.geierspichler.com!
When Andreas met him, he couldn’t believe that Thomas wasn’t yet considered a superstar in his own country, Austria. (Europe’s understanding of how much sports and activities can help disabled people to become sucessful sportsmen is close to non-existent) So they teamed up, did some hot photo shoots and became friends. They also started Walk ‘n Roll (the logo was designed by kick ass Graphic Master Richard Wimmer), an in initiative that has set itself the goal to help disabled sports people – check it out and contribute, if you wanna…
Andreas does Fiva Mc

Austrian Fashion Dot Net
A
ustrian Fashion Design has developed a stronger branding for itself in the recent years. Quite a few things are going on and there definately is a need for getting together, conglomerating, organising and getting the stuff out, to an audience as well as local and international media.
One of the platforms that came out of that need is the initiative AustrianFashion.Net, an open platform for communicating austrian fashion designers and their creations beyond the borders of the cute little land that is austria.
Check out Andreas stuff on austrianfashion.

Diane is also a bit of a web pioneer, through her capacities as Editor-in-Chief and Consultant for Iqons and also the brain behind AShadedViewOnFashion.com, the internationally reknown blog she launched in 2005.
